About the Role

As an HR Assistant at Amazon Europe Core, you will play a vital role in creating an appealing work environment for our employees. Your primary responsibilities will include handling onboarding, self-service tools, and time/attendance tasks, using dashboards to generate reports for managers. You will also plan initiatives to promote employee wellbeing and review business processes for compliance with data protection, labor laws, and HR best practices.

A Day in the Life

As an HR Assistant, you will work on-site, collaborating directly with logistics teams. Depending on location, you will alternate with HR assistant colleagues. An on-site HR contact will be available to answer employee questions. Your tasks will include tracking HR processes, supporting team leaders on employee motivation projects, gathering feedback, and promoting new initiatives. You will help create an inclusive environment where employees feel comfortable raising HR concerns.

Requirements
  • Experience in human resources
  • Experience with customer service
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • High school or equivalent
  • Experience in confidential environments
  • Fluency in German and English
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with instructing new employees and the associated administrative tasks
  • Basic experience with work in connection with employment law and HR/payroll practice
