About the Role:
As a Part-time Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for handling comprehensive accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting for our two German units. You will also prepare, analyze, and review monthly and yearly financial statements, as well as manage and reconcile VAT returns and tax declarations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Reconcile and manage VAT returns and tax declarations
- Assist in budget planning and forecasting activities
- Perform general commercial tasks, such as procurement, inventory management, invoicing, and system administration
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably with further education in finance. You will also need to have experience in accounting within an industrial company, ideally in a versatile role within a family-owned business. Prior exposure to inventory management is a plus, and proficiency in MS Office is required. Knowledge of Monitor ERP system is desirable, and excellent German and English language skills are essential.
