Circuit Simulation Engineer for Advanced Systems

In your new position, you will:

  • Enhance Infineon's proprietary circuit simulation tool
  • Continuously refine the simulator to ensure optimal performance, feature richness, and maintainability
  • Revamp existing software components, including code maintenance and restructuring
  • Assist our global user base
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation
  • Engage in EU-funded initiatives that focus on topics pertinent to Infineon's internal simulation teams

You are ideally suited for this role if you possess:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Multiple years of experience in simulation software development, electronic design automation (EDA), algorithm design, or a similar technical field
  • Strong programming expertise, particularly in C++/C within LINUX and Windows environments
  • Familiarity with the SystemC programming language
  • Preferably: Experience in developing co-simulation frameworks and coupling algorithms
  • A solid understanding of numerical methods, high-performance data structures, algorithms, and memory optimization techniques
  • Self-driven with outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Some practical experience with SPICE simulators (e.g., SIMetrix, Orcad PSpice, LTspice, Cadence Spectre, Synopsys HSPICE, Siemens EDA AFS, etc.) or simulation environments (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, COSIDE, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in German is a plus
