Are you a skilled IT professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented Windows System Administrator to join our team at GULP – experts united in Dortmund. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the installation, administration, and monitoring of virtualized system environments and underlying hardware.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • Contributing to various IT projects and taking responsibility for sub-projects
  • Maintenance of the network landscape (DNS, DHCP, VLAN) as well as firewalls and security systems
  • Second-level support for various applications and systems, including processing user enquiries
  • Ensuring, supervising, maintaining, and supporting the Windows system landscape (from Windows Server 2008, from Windows 7, MS Exchange, MS Active Directory)

Your Profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
  • Initial experience in the areas of server virtualization (VMware), backup and recovery, network, hardware (ideally HP)
  • Experience as an IT administrator or IT supporter in the Windows environment
  • ITIL knowledge is an advantage
  • Confident German and good written and spoken English skills
  • Analytical thinking as well as a systematic and independent way of working
