Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer Snowflake to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a crucial role in improving and developing the way we produce content for Healthcare R&D by leveraging GenAI and optimizing data volumes and analytical workloads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient database schemas that support analytical workloads.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Snowflake's data sharing and integration features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability and performance for increasing data volumes and analytical workloads.
  • Automate content creation and data generation processes using GenAI.
  • Develop Generative AI models to provide advanced analytics and insights.
  • Maintain robust security and compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces for easy access to AI-generated content and insights.
  • Document solutions in-depth and ensure proper handover to providers and coaching of internal experts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Snowflake's data warehousing capabilities and virtual warehouse architecture.
  • Proficiency in using Snowflake's data sharing and integration features for seamless collaboration.
  • Experience with dimensional modeling for data warehousing.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and user-defined functions.
  • Skills in optimizing SQL queries for performance and efficiency.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and techniques, including Snowpipe, AWS Glue, Kinesis, Informatica cloud, or similar tools for real-time and periodic data processing.
  • Proficiency in transforming data within Snowflake using SQL and other tools.
  • Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and governance.
  • Experience with DBT for database object modeling and provisioning.
  • Good documentation and coaching practice.
