SAP is revolutionizing the way businesses operate by infusing AI into all enterprise applications. As a Senior/Expert Applied Research Scientist, you will play a crucial role in amplifying the strength of AI technology, fusing it with robust industry-focused data and profound process knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop technical strategies to protect confidential training data, ensuring differential privacy and adhering to the highest ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Design and implement innovative methodologies to ensure data integrity and security, leveraging expertise in Foundation Models and Machine Learning.
  • Liaise with the legal department to ensure alignment between data privacy approaches and legal requirements.
  • Foster partnerships with academic institutions, promoting research collaborations and knowledge exchange in the field of data privacy.
  • Contribute to thought leadership in data modality for Foundation Models and Generative AI.

Requirements:

  • PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant disciplines.
  • Extensive experience and publication record on Foundation Models, Machine Learning, and data privacy research.
  • Strong technical vision on data privacy for Foundation Models.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
  • Exceptional teamwork abilities and strategic thinking skills.
