UPM Biochemicals is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager for our Renewable Functional Fillers (RFF) division. This is a permanent role that offers flexibility for remote work.

- Foster successful Sales & Marketing initiatives for our innovative renewable functional fillers (RFFs) by building strong relationships with clients.
- Offer technical guidance on the application and management of RFFs to both direct clients and distributors within the rubber and plastics sectors.
- Oversee and facilitate customer approvals for UPM's renewable functional fillers.
- Introduce RFFs to prospective clients in the rubber and plastics industries.
- Gather customer insights and technical specifications, relaying this information to Sales & Marketing for strategic decision-making.
- Deliver on-site and off-site technical services, including product trials, evaluations, and training for customers and distributors.
- Develop technical documentation for clients (such as product information and application guidelines), participate in industry trade shows, and present technical insights at conferences.
- Act as the primary contact for all technical inquiries regarding UPM's renewable functional fillers, addressing aspects such as product quality, application performance, handling, safety, and sustainability.
- A university degree in chemistry, polymer engineering, or materials science.
- Over 5 years of experience in the rubber and plastics industry.
- In-depth knowledge of functional fillers, polymers, compounding, and processing in rubber and plastics.
- A strong commercial mindset, aligning customer needs with business objectives.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Fluency in English and German, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confident decision-maker with strong ownership of objectives and challenges, alongside exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally, particularly within the EU.
