Role Overview:

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Kyan Health, you will be responsible for driving the development of projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate closely with our product team to ensure that solutions are not only functional but also enhance user experiences. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop full-stack applications, from front-end to back-end, with a focus on React/React Native or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of a project, from architecture to deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring code quality and performance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and contribute to team success.
  • Participate in code reviews, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience with React, React Native, or a similar JavaScript framework.
  • Strong experience working with both front-end and back-end technologies (JavaScript, RESTful APIs, databases, etc.).
  • Ability to take projects from initial concept through to production, with minimal supervision.
  • A pragmatic approach, with a clear understanding of the balance between striving for optimal code quality and efficiently delivering business value.
  • A track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Desire to build a strong workplace culture.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Experience with BigQuery and Mixpanel is a plus.
  • Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Experience using generative AI to improve development processes and product features is a plus.
