Procurement Specialist for R&T Projects

For our esteemed client in the aerospace sector, we are seeking dedicated professionals for the position located in Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany, within the framework of temporary employment:

Your Responsibilities:

The successful candidate (d/f/m) will assume the role of Buyer for MSI & Interiors in R&T projects.

  • Facilitate collaboration with Airbus R&T, engineering, and program teams to develop effective procurement strategies for various R&T initiatives.
  • Engage in strategic projects such as #zeroE (Zero Emission) for PSCI.
  • Contribute to a cohesive and strategic supply chain approach for R&T, integrating market intelligence, supplier positioning, and performance into sourcing decisions.
  • Oversee procurement activities related to R&T, including managing calls for tenders (RFI/RFP), preparing and conducting negotiations until contract finalization, managing contract templates, and ensuring follow-up on execution and amendments.
  • Through R&T projects, conduct sourcing and screening activities to identify potential new partners.
  • Negotiate necessary Cooperation and Research Agreements with suppliers to secure appropriate IP rights for Airbus, thereby enabling multi-sourcing and future competitiveness.
  • Build and maintain a broad network both internally and externally.
  • Ensure professional and trustworthy supplier relationship management with key players in the aeronautical industry while upholding the company's ethics and compliance standards in all interactions.

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective information flow.
  • Ability to integrate seamlessly into a team environment.
  • High level of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business purposes (potentially several times a year).

Educational Background:

  • Engineering degree (minimum Bachelor's) or
  • Business administration degree (minimum Bachelor's).

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in procurement.
  • Experience in customer service with efficient project management is advantageous.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project management.
  • Excellent understanding of process management.

IT Skills:

  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in contract and international negotiations with external stakeholders (suppliers, customers) is desirable.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in German.
  • Business fluent in English.
