Key Responsibilities
  • Executing all necessary nursing tasks related to the pre- and post-operative care of patients within the surgical environment.
  • Ensuring the availability of sterile supplies while adhering to all relevant legal and regulatory standards.
  • Cleaning, disinfecting, inspecting, maintaining, testing, packaging, sterilizing, and assembling medical instruments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Operating and overseeing the maintenance of a wide range of departmental equipment.
  • Documenting and verifying the decontamination and sterilization processes.
  • Conducting routine checks and maintaining records (e.g., Bowie-Dick test, PCD).
Required Qualifications
  • Certification in Basic or Advanced Sterile Processing Training as per the guidelines set by the German Society for Sterile Supply (DGSV).
  • Strong understanding of hygienic practices and effective work methodologies.
  • Commitment to teamwork, responsibility, and dedication.
  • Proficient in the German language (minimum B2 level).
  • Availability to work shifts and weekends.
  • Competence in MS Office applications.
