About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scheduler to join our Project Support team in Gelsenkirchen. As a Senior Scheduler, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules based on the project's Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). You will ensure that deadlines are met and update the schedule based on project progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling for plant engineering projects, including creating and tracking schedules that take into account all project phases (engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning)
- Reviewing, coordinating, optimizing, monitoring, and benchmarking internal and external schedules, as well as detailed construction schedules (e.g., construction companies)
- Progress monitoring, reporting, and identification of schedule risks (e.g., with Primavera Risk Analysis) and previewing project milestones and developing corrective measures (analyses, critical path, MTA, degrees of completion, earned value analyses, etc.)
- Supporting the management of external schedulers for the bid team in the preparation of bid schedules for project management in planning order processing and order management to meet deadlines, progress, and hourly targets
- Interface coordination between external partners and internal specialist departments
Requirements
- Successfully completed university studies in the field of engineering or industrial engineering
- Extensive professional experience in scheduling and monitoring in plant construction
- Experience in operational project management in plant construction
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Project, as well as Primavera P6 and Primavera Risk Analysis
- Ability to work independently and systematically, flexibility, and mobility
- Very good communication skills and a confident manner with internal and external partners
- Willingness to travel in a national and international project environment
- Obligatory are C1 level German skills and very good written and spoken English skills
