As a Senior Application Engineer, you will serve as a crucial link between Siemens Industry Software and our clients. This role is both dynamic and demanding, requiring extensive technical knowledge, strong communication abilities, and exceptional business acumen. You will collaborate with a variety of businesses across different technology sectors, assisting them in overcoming technical and commercial challenges with Siemens EDA's state-of-the-art verification solutions. Your contributions will be vital to the expansion of Siemens EDA's functional verification sector in Europe, ensuring the effective implementation and growth of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Propel business growth for Siemens EDA through hands-on technical expertise, working directly with clients as part of an account team.
  • Offer guidance on verification methodologies, conduct training on verification tools, and assist in identifying and resolving verification issues.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, gaining insight into their technical requirements and challenges.
  • Manage multiple client issues simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as necessary, and collaborating with design and verification engineers as well as their supervisors.
  • Provide technical insights to Siemens EDA's product development teams regarding critical issues and suggest enhancements to our products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent, with substantial experience in design and functional verification.
  • Comprehensive understanding of design and verification principles in ASIC and FPGA processes.
  • Proficiency with simulation and debugging tools, along with the ability to configure and optimize these tools for peak performance.
  • Experience in verification planning and management for both block-level and top-level designs.
  • Familiarity with HDL coding (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog) and UVM methodologies.
  • Expertise in clock/reset and low-power design and verification techniques.
  • Experience working in Linux and Windows environments, including knowledge of scripting languages.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and training sessions, both domestically and internationally.
