Regulatory Process Specialist

Are you passionate about digitization and believe that regulation and efficiency can coexist? As a Regulatory Process Specialist at Commerzbank AG Deutschland, you will be part of an agile, interdisciplinary team dedicated to enhancing regulatory processes and applications related to KYC, screening, and client onboarding.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing regulatory and business requirements and translating them into innovative IT concepts.
  • Collaborating with application developers and IT operations to design further developments of our products and workflows, focusing on efficiency, digitization, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supporting technical implementation through release planning, testing, go-live, and user communication.
  • Acting as a contact person for internal customers, gathering business requirements, and providing user support.
  • Interacting with teams and stakeholders to ensure our applications adapt to changing frameworks and customer needs.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in business administration, (business) computer science, or comparable qualifications.
  • A solid understanding of general banking processes, particularly in customer onboarding, KYC processes, and screening.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience related to regulatory issues, compliance, KYC processes, risk management, or auditing.
  • Practical experience in the digitalization of processes, including release planning and user support.
  • Strong analytical, methodological, and conceptual skills.
  • A high degree of self-initiative, result orientation, and communicative competence.
  • An agile mindset with flexibility and a willingness to drive change, preferably with experience in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) and at least basic German language skills.
