Position: Trade Finance Middle Officer (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and processing of all activities related to incoming requests for the issuance, modification, and cancellation of international guarantees.
- Facilitate the handling of requests concerning the issuance, amendment, document presentation, and cancellation of import and export letters of credit.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards for all transactions.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing operational specifics of their requests, including necessary changes to guarantee texts or discrepancies in LC documentation.
- Oversee fee management, including monitoring, debiting (MT499 processing), and invoice preparation in close collaboration with the back office.
- Compile and prepare internal and external monthly business reports along with relevant statistics.
- Report directly to the Deputy GTB Head of Client Service.
- Collaborate closely with the GTB Front Office and provide support to Senior Trade Bankers.
- Assist in executing Permanent Supervision Controls.
Required Profile:
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of trade finance products, including letters of credit and guarantees.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Trade Finance Department within a banking environment.
- Strong teamwork capabilities.
- Client-focused approach, both internally and externally.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken); proficiency in French is a plus.
- Adaptable and solution-oriented work style.
- Proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
- Able to thrive in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse setting.
- Competent in escalating issues appropriately.
