About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at DataGuard. As a key member of our Go-To-Market team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and analyze customer needs and preferences.
  • Prospecting and Outreach: Develop and execute a prospecting strategy to reach out to potential customers, build relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Account Management: Manage existing customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth, and provide regular reports to management.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree in a business or technology-related field of study (or comparable).
  • Experience: Proven experience in a challenging, fast-paced professional environment, with a strong background in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Language: Native German proficiency, with English a plus.
