About the RoleAs a Head of Direct Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in the DACH region. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, manage the pipeline, and develop a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the overall pipeline of new customers joining the platform.
- Collaborate with the SDR Team Lead to ensure a smooth handover process from lead to deal.
- Refine and optimize current sales processes, including tools used to connect and close new customers.
- Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives based in Berlin.
- Develop each team member to increase adoption of the platform and payments across new customers.
- Ensure clear communications between the sales team and collaborate to ensure setup checklists are completed and customers are handed over properly.
- Grow the mid-market customer base by identifying market opportunities and developing strategies to effectively provide solutions to those customers.
- Ensure the team exceeds its monthly MRR and KPI targets.
- 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a solution-sales/technology-related environment.
- 1+ years in a managing role.
- Strong presentation skills and telephone manner.
- Experience with data sets, targets, quoting, invoicing, and purchasing.
- Excellent written and spoken skills in German and English.
- Possession for people and technology.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a target-based environment.
