Are you a seasoned sales professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Direct Sales to join our team at Lightspeed.

About the Role

As a Head of Direct Sales, you will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives in the DACH region. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, manage the pipeline, and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall pipeline of new customers joining the platform.
  • Collaborate with the SDR Team Lead to ensure a smooth handover process from lead to deal.
  • Refine and optimize current sales processes, including tools used to connect and close new customers.
  • Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives based in Berlin.
  • Develop each team member to increase adoption of the platform and payments across new customers.
  • Ensure clear communications between the sales team and collaborate to ensure setup checklists are completed and customers are handed over properly.
  • Grow the mid-market customer base by identifying market opportunities and developing strategies to effectively provide solutions to those customers.
  • Ensure the team exceeds its monthly MRR and KPI targets.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in a solution-sales/technology-related environment.
  • 1+ years in a managing role.
  • Strong presentation skills and telephone manner.
  • Experience with data sets, targets, quoting, invoicing, and purchasing.
  • Excellent written and spoken skills in German and English.
  • Possession for people and technology.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a target-based environment.
