Position Overview
The Global Category Manager for IT/OT Infrastructure Services plays a pivotal role within the IT Services, Infrastructure, and Cloud team. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a global capacity, contributing to transformative projects across various sectors of RWE, including Renewable Energies and Energy Trading.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of the global category strategy, focusing on Infrastructure and Cloud services, leveraging your expertise in international markets and trends.
- Oversee procurement operations, ensuring effective management of strategic tender processes while collaborating with essential internal and external partners.
- Build and maintain a robust network of suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring that IT/OT needs are addressed to optimize RWE's performance.
Your Profile
- A university degree complemented by extensive professional experience in relevant fields.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies, financial management, and the IT/OT procurement landscape.
- Strong negotiation capabilities and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to engage with operational teams and key suppliers.
- Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
