About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Protection Technician to join our team at Bilfinger. As a Fire Protection Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems in industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and installation of fire protection systems, including sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and suppression systems
- Maintenance and repair of existing fire protection systems
- Conducting regular inspections and testing of fire protection systems
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues and clients
Requirements:
- Successful completion of a recognized apprenticeship or training program in fire protection or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection or a related field
- Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards, including NFPA and ISO
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
