About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist (m/w/d) Last Mile Operations to join our team at Hermes. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our last mile delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for last mile delivery processes, including depot, distribution center, and customer interactions.
  • Analyze processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and quality.
  • Identify and address process weaknesses, developing and implementing corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support the Last Mile Manager, Depot Manager, and HZB Managers in achieving quality targets.
  • Monitor and control last mile delivery processes at depots and distribution centers, as well as with customers.
  • Conduct quality checks on delivery personnel to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Prepare for and ensure successful audit outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience and skills.
  • At least two years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • High-level knowledge of quality management principles and process optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, conflict resolution, and persuasion abilities.
  • Ability to think holistically and take responsibility.
  • English language skills are desirable.
