Job Overview

Achenbach Buschhütten seeks a skilled Project Manager to lead projects from receipt of order to end of warranty. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical leadership to project team members, act as the main contact for customers, and communicate effectively with departments, local construction partners, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead projects from receipt of order to end of warranty, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to project team members, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with departments, local construction partners, and subcontractors, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Project Scheduling and Cost Management: Develop and manage project schedules and budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
  • Reporting and Claim Management: Prepare and submit internal and external reports, handle claim management, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in international plant construction.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Organized, team-oriented, and possessing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and Independence: Resilient, assertive, and able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility.
  • Language and Cultural Competence: Fluent in English, professional demeanor, and willingness to travel.
