About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Go Backend Developer to join our Demand Solutions team at AppLike Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our scalable adtech platform, ensuring high-performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our Go backend, working on microservices architecture and event buses like Kafka and SQS/SNS.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement efficient data processing and storage solutions using columnar databases such as Druid.
  • Work with our data scientists and BI analysts to leverage machine learning models and provide statistical data to our partners.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for our internal business team and external advertisers, ensuring seamless integration with our frontend.
  • Optimize queries and data processing to deliver fast response times and high-quality data.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years of experience in building web applications in Go.
  • Profound experience with columnar databases and query optimization.
  • Proficiency in profiling Go applications and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Experience working on large-scale Go applications with high traffic.
  • Open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany.
  • Plus: experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and serverless infrastructure.
