About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing system architectures and solutions for products in the modular avionics/avionics platforms for applications in FCAS (Future Combat Air System).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop system architectures and solutions for products in the modular avionics/avionics platforms for applications in FCAS (Future Combat Air System)
  • Support marketing activities and proposals
  • Collaborate with various national and international projects within the FCAS program
  • Evaluate design artifacts, layouts, and designs, and coordinate with internal and external partners
  • Work closely with other system engineering departments and individual domains such as hardware and software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace, control engineering, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in military development projects and/or avionics platforms
  • Experience in creating specifications and defining system and device architectures
  • Knowledge of system engineering
  • Knowledge of airworthiness certification of devices and systems is an advantage
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Proficient English language skills
