Electronic Systems Architect

Project Overview:

In the role of a Systems Engineer at K-tronik GmbH, you will engage in the creation and enhancement of electronic systems tailored for the aviation sector, particularly within defense technology. Your key responsibilities will revolve around crafting system architectures while collaborating with diverse project teams focused on both hardware and software development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop system architectures and innovative solutions for modular avionics products.
  • Assist sales teams in activities such as proposal preparation and marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate on various national and international projects.
  • Assess developed design artifacts, layouts, and system drafts.
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams (hardware and software) and external partners to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications:
  • Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing electronic systems for military or avionics applications.
  • Strong understanding of requirements and systems engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in defining system and device architectures and drafting technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, Polarion, or similar.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • A proactive approach and a collaborative mindset.
  • Additional knowledge in aviation systems certification (ARP4754, DO-178, DO-254) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of FCAS (Future Combat Air System) is a plus.
