About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Architect to join our team at T-Systems International GmbH. As an IT Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the digital transformation of the public sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the digitalization of the public administration in diverse software development, integration, migration, and implementation projects, including OZG process optimizations.
  • Design and be responsible for the IT architecture and software design.
  • Define and enforce architecture and development guidelines, as well as coordinate the implementation of non-functional quality requirements for business-critical applications.
  • Review technical fine concepts, software designs, and source codes.
  • Support sales activities with architecture expertise and implementation competence as a Solution Designer.
Requirements
  • Completed MINT studies with a focus on IT or comparable vocational training with extensive professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of project and professional experience in IT projects, e.g., as an IT Architect, Solution Architect, or Software Developer in software development projects in the public administration at the federal or state level.
  • Practical experience with modern software architectures, UML, or comparable modeling languages, requirements engineering, quality management, and classical and agile software development.
  • Fundamental experience and first certifications in ISAQB or TOGAF.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java technologies or Microsoft.Net technologies, as well as modern IT technologies such as Low Code, AI, Cloud, Blockchain, and Self-Sovereign Identity.
  • Desirable knowledge of the essential legal foundations, standards, and methods of public administration (e.g., V-Model XT, SAGA, XÖV, BSI Grundschutz, data protection, FIM).
  • Desirable knowledge of current digitalization trends in the public administration.
  • Excellent German language skills at a native level and very good English language skills.
