Software Architect - Public Sector Digitalization

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at T-Systems International GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of software solutions for public sector digitalization.

  • Project Participation: You will participate in diverse software development, integration, migration, and implementation projects in the context of public sector digitalization.
  • IT Architecture and Design: You will design and be responsible for IT architecture and software design, ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Architecture and Development Guidelines: You will define and enforce architecture and development guidelines, as well as coordinate the implementation of non-functional quality requirements for critical business applications.
  • Technical Review: You will review technical detailed concepts, software designs, and source codes to ensure that they meet our quality standards.
  • Technical Leadership: You will provide technical leadership to development teams, guiding them in the implementation of software solutions.
  • Solution Design: You will support offer and pre-sales activities through architecture expertise and implementation skills as a Solution Designer.

Requirements:

  • Education: You should have a successful completion of a STEM degree with a focus on IT or a comparable vocational training with years of professional experience.
  • Experience: You should have at least 5 years of project and professional experience in IT projects, e.g. as an IT architect, Solution Architect, or Software Developer in software development projects in the public sector at federal or state level.
  • Skills: You should have practical experience with modern software architectures, UML or comparable modeling languages, Requirements Engineering, Quality Management as well as classical and agile software development.
  • Certifications: You should have proven experience and extensive certifications in ISAQB and/or TOGAF.
  • Technologies: You should have very good knowledge and practical experience in Java technologies or Microsoft.Net technologies as well as modern IT technologies such as Low Code, AI, Cloud, Blockchain, Self Sovereign Identity, etc.
  • Knowledge: You should have knowledge of the key legal foundations, standards, and methods of the public sector (e.g., V-Modell XT, SAGA, XÖV, BSI Grundschutz, data protection, FIM).
  • Network: You should have a personal network and knowledge of current digitalization trends in the public sector.
  • Language: You should have German language skills at native level and very good English language skills.
