This position is pivotal in fostering customer loyalty and achieving the sales and revenue goals of Perrigo by providing outstanding customer service and enhancing the overall customer journey.
The Customer Service & Logistics Specialist acts as the primary supply chain liaison for both internal and external stakeholders, overseeing the management of customer orders, which includes order entry, processing, and enhancing the customer experience.
The responsibilities include maintaining high service standards through improved accuracy in customer forecasts and collaboration, while also striving to minimize costs throughout the supply chain.
Formulate and implement strategies and action plans to meet customer service objectives, cost efficiency, inventory management, and cash collection goals, specifically:
● Establish rigorous daily management practices across the organization, ensuring accountability for exceptional customer service delivery.
● Define and monitor relevant metrics aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure effective performance management. Foster a culture of continuous improvement through thorough root cause analysis.
● Spearhead the development of order-to-cash systems, processes, and resources to reduce cycle times by leveraging automation and digital technologies.
● Collaborate cross-functionally to comprehend customer needs and devise solutions that enhance the customer experience.
● Partner with logistics providers to design and implement an optimal logistics network that aligns with customer requirements and regional logistics operations.
● Collaborate with Planning and Commercial teams to ensure the successful introduction of new products.
Identify and pursue collaborative value creation opportunities within the supply chain with key clients, specifically:
● Lead the customer fulfillment agenda by cultivating strong relationships with supply chain leaders from key clients.
● Capture and monetize joint value creation initiatives with customers.
● Encourage innovation both internally and externally to support new digital business opportunities in customer fulfillment.
Establish stringent data management practices, specifically:
● Drive comprehensive governance of customer and product data: inventory management, EPOS, on-shelf availability, customer forecasting.
● Ensure data synchronization with customers adhering to industry standards.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in customer service and/or order management, logistics, and planning, preferably within the Consumer Self-Care or FMCG sectors.
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
- Proficient in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM, and order entry systems.
- Understanding of financial and business planning principles.
- Knowledge of supply chain planning and order management processes.
- Comprehension of cost, profitability, and cash flow at a strategic level.
