Logistics Team Assistant

Your Tasks

We are looking for a Team Assistant (m/f/d) for our Contract Logistics department at DB Schenker AG in Essen. Your tasks will include:

  • Monitoring and managing the calendars of senior staff and planning meetings, including writing on behalf of senior staff
  • Organizing and conducting meetings, conferences, and internal events
  • Receiving and welcoming visitors at all levels of senior staff
  • Establishing contact with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Supporting the team with travel preparations, visa, and expense processing
  • Supporting global administrative processes, particularly in various HR processes in close cooperation with the HR department
  • Managing invoices, approving and ordering office materials and IT hardware and software
  • Supporting cost center, budget planning, and reporting, invoice checking
  • Creating documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations for the team
  • Conducting background research and presenting the results

Requirements

Your Profile:

  • You have a completed commercial education, for example, as a freight forwarding clerk or office clerk
  • Ideal would be to have already worked in an international corporation
  • You have good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Notes, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and fluent English in writing and speaking, which we assume
