Your RoleAs a Backend Software Engineer in the Customer Operations team, you will have a significant impact on software that manages thousands of vehicles and customers on a daily basis. Your primary responsibility will be to enable our customers to manage their cars and our Customer Care team to respond to queries efficiently.

As a Backend Software Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Simplify, Automate, and Optimize: Use no-code tools like Make or Retool (20%) and solid hard code implementation (80%) to simplify, automate, and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually.
- You Build It, You Run It: Build features and take ownership of testing, deployment, and monitoring of your code. We believe in Serverless architecture.
- Share Your Technical Expertise: Play a driving technical role in the Backend team, sharing your technical knowledge and engineering best practices, and shaping technical discussions to deliver the best possible solutions.
We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer with:
- Experience in software engineering with a hands-on mindset.
- Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Knowledge in SQL, Docker, and building HTTP APIs or serverless applications is a plus.
- Experience with Git and traditional PR review processes is a plus.
- Previous experience in an agile development team.
- A strong growth mindset and motivation to continuously improve self and team performance.
- Fluency in English.
The compensation for this role will be within the range of €55,000 to €81,000 + VSOP, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, certifications, education level, seniority, and performance, as assessed during the interview process.
