About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Berlin, Munich, or Paris. As a key member of our software engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend systems, working closely with our frontend team to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop efficient, well-structured backend systems using Java, Golang, and gRPC.
  • Collaborate with the frontend team to implement customer-facing features, from idea to implementation.
  • Work with our team to implement new software projects in microservices, providing APIs and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Write clean, testable, and efficient code, adhering to best software development practices.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable mobile web applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Google Container Engine.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a professional Software Engineer, with a strong background in backend development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Golang, with experience in cloud applications and Event-Driven Architectures.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and gRPC, with experience in designing and implementing scalable systems.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including testability, efficiency, and maintainability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
