About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for creating virtual environments, configuring virtual machines, and ensuring IT infrastructure compliance with relevant regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Create virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMWare) based on standards and customer requirements
  • Configure virtual machines (Windows) and associated IT services (WSUS, AD, AV, WSUS, Radius, etc.)
  • Install, set up, and update application software
  • Develop customer documentation (design specification, user manual)
  • Act as the customer contact person
  • Analyze existing Active Directory structures
  • Ensure IT infrastructure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, CIS)

Your Profile

  • Completed training as an IT specialist and/or degree
  • Several years of professional experience in IT administration and/or IT project business
  • Very good knowledge of virtualization (preferably Hyper-V) and Active Directory administration in small to medium-sized companies
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems (Microsoft certifications), software installation, and error analysis
  • Ideal knowledge of IT architecture design
  • Experience in project management and customer clarification
  • Ability to work in intercultural and virtual teams
  • Ideal knowledge of relevant rules and regulations in the field of cybersecurity (e.g. IEC 62443, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO27001, CIS)
  • Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • High degree of initiative and good communication skills
  • Team player with ability to work effectively with different stakeholders
