IT Infrastructure Manager

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator (m/w/d) to join our team at emagine Consulting. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our computer systems in HGÜ projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMWare) for HGÜ projects based on industry standards and customer requirements.
- Configure and manage virtual machines (Windows) and related IT services (WSUS, AD, AV, etc.).
- Install and configure application software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and maintain customer documentation (design specifications, user manuals).
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- Analyze existing Active Directory structures and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure scalability, security, and integration of existing systems.
- Verify IT infrastructure compliance with industry standards (ISO, CIS, etc.).
Requirements:
- Completed education in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in system integration or a related field, with a strong background in IT administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V) and Active Directory management in small to medium-sized enterprises.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems (Microsoft certifications), software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in designing IT architecture, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work in intercultural and virtual teams.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, NERC CIP, BDEW Whitepaper, ISO, CIS).
- Fluent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to persuade and negotiate.
- High level of initiative and communication skills.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
