As an Infrastructure Security Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT division by addressing various technological needs, aligning with both office and regional objectives as we strive for excellence in our IT frameworks and services. Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting within the organization's server ecosystem, which includes both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, as well as network management. You will oversee the inventory of hardware and software assets, ensure systems are current, and deliver technical assistance to staff on a range of IT-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Configuration: Set up Windows servers, managing roles and functionalities.
- Domain Management: Oversee Active Directory user administration.
- Network Setup: Configure L2 stack switches and VLANs.
- VPN Oversight: Manage site-to-site VPN connections (IPSEC, SSL) and client VPN access.
- User Access Management: Administer Entra ID.
- Hybrid Exchange Management: Handle administration tasks.
- IT Security Enhancement: Develop and maintain internal security protocols.
- ESXi Hypervisor Management: Conduct installation, configuration, updates, and patch management of ESXi and vCenter; manage network and storage within ESXi.
- Linux Server Management: Oversee installation and configuration (network, access control).
- Cloud Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain cloud solutions.
Required Experience
- Windows Clients/Server: Proficient in DHCP, DNS, WSUS, CA.
- Network Infrastructure: Knowledgeable in LAN, WLAN, WAN, etc.
- Firewall and Mail Gateway: Familiar with Sophos, Fortigate, Fortimail, Watchguard, Lancom.
- Microsoft 365: Experienced with Azure Hybrid, Exchange, Intune, Defender.
- Virtualization Technologies: Skilled in VMware, NAS/SAN.
