As an Infrastructure Security Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the IT division by addressing various technological needs, aligning with both office and regional objectives as we aim to enhance our IT frameworks and services. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing issues within the organization's server infrastructure, encompassing both on-premises and cloud environments, as well as network systems. You will oversee an inventory of hardware and software assets, ensure that systems are current, and provide technical assistance to staff regarding a range of IT-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Configuration: Set up Windows servers, managing roles and functionalities.
- Domain Management: Handle Active Directory user administration.
- Network Setup: Configure L2 stack switches and VLANs.
- VPN Oversight: Manage site-to-site VPN tunnels (IPSEC, SSL) and client VPN access.
- User Access Management: Administer Entra ID.
- Exchange Administration: Oversee a hybrid Exchange environment.
- Security Assurance: Develop and maintain internal security protocols.
- Hypervisor Management: Install, configure, and update ESXi and vCenter; manage network and storage configurations within ESXi.
- Linux Administration: Install and configure Linux servers (network and access control).
- Cloud Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain cloud solutions.
Required Experience
- Windows Client/Server Management: (DHCP, DNS, WSUS, CA)
- Network Infrastructure Knowledge: (LAN, WLAN, WAN, etc.)
- Firewall and Mail Gateway Experience: (Sophos, Fortigate, Fortimail, Watchguard, Lancom)
- Microsoft 365 Proficiency: (Azure Hybrid, Exchange, Intune, Defender)
- Virtualization Skills: (VMware, NAS/SAN)
