Since our historic first crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have successfully completed over 2,000 test flights globally.
Role Overview
Your responsibilities in this role:
As the Supplier Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in interfacing with Volocopter's Supply Chain, ensuring adherence to General Quality Requirements across our global network.
- You will be instrumental in evaluating and enhancing supplier performance while overseeing quality metrics.
- You will adapt to both internal and external shifts that may impact supplier approvals.
- You will serve as a vital link between Volocopter and its supply partners.
Required Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Management role within the aviation sector.
- In-depth understanding of the EASA regulatory framework and associated practices.
- Proven record of recent training in relevant Quality Management Standards, such as AS/EN/JISQ 9100, EASA Part-21, Part-ORO, Part-M, Part-145, or equivalent; comprehensive knowledge of the variations in implementations.
- Current qualifications and experience as an auditor for management systems at various levels.
