Lead Analytics Manager for People Insights

Position Overview: The Senior Manager of People Analytics plays a pivotal role in steering the creation and execution of the HR Data Strategy within Bauer Media Group. This position involves overseeing a dedicated team of data specialists and collaborating with HR executives, technology partners, and various stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions that facilitate informed decision-making for the company's transformation and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement a workforce analytics strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
  • Recruit and manage a small team of data experts to provide analytical solutions that support HR and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with HR, technology, and business leaders to pinpoint essential business inquiries that can be addressed through data analysis.
  • Establish and execute metrics, reporting systems, and dashboards to monitor critical HR and business performance indicators.
  • Lead cross-company initiatives aimed at enhancing data quality through collection efforts and recommending process enhancements to ensure data integrity.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in workforce analytics, suggesting innovative approaches to boost effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics) with over 8 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years in a data leadership capacity.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of data professionals to deliver data projects successfully.
  • Familiarity with HR processes and terminology is advantageous.
  • Understanding of HR Systems data models (e.g., SAP Success Factors) and practical experience with Python and PowerBI.
  • Conceptual skills and ideally experience in formulating an HR data strategy; previous exposure to ESG reporting is desirable.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently while working independently.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken German and English.
