Senior Database Administrator

Transition Partners is seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our client's team in Duisburg. As a key member of the database team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and health of the database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
  • Conduct performance tuning, including query optimization, indexing, and locking
  • Review and maintain database systems to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Manage and transform large, multi-dimensional datasets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL systems
  • Advanced skills in performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
  • Experience working with large datasets and transforming data structures
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in cross-functional teams
