Position Overview

Role and Team Integration

Deutsche Bank is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to enhance the Client Access & Digital Experience team.

In the capacity of a Lead/Senior Fullstack Developer, you will be instrumental in defining the visual and interactive components of our sophisticated web applications. You will collaborate with a team of fullstack developers, working closely with UX/UI designers, front-end and back-end developers, product owners, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and innovative frontend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

You will independently implement new React features in our web application, managing the collaboration with backend developers and API design as necessary. Daily interaction and communication with the Design team will be essential to ensure a solid and accessible user experience. You will participate in design discussions regarding the future direction of the application and the platform. As a senior developer, you will contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance the overall quality of our code, explore new technologies, mentor junior team members, and apply best practices in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Required Skills and Experience

Extensive experience (8+ years) in fullstack development, including JAVA, Spring Boot, ORM, and cloud technologies, particularly GCP. Familiarity with additional libraries (Vue, Svelte, Remix, Next.js) and backend architectures (SOA, BFF, MVC) is advantageous. Proficient in semantic HTML and modern CSS, with a solid understanding of common security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10). Experience with GCP, JAVA (versions 8+), ORM frameworks, and databases, along with some DevOps knowledge. Advanced skills in JUnit, JAVA (versions 8 to 17), Spring Boot, and callback function mechanisms for BFF. Expertise in Microservices and REST API development. Strong JavaScript skills (including vanilla and DOM), with proficiency in TypeScript as a requirement. Experience with asynchronous programming and a solid understanding of web networking and cryptographic principles. Familiarity with Web Accessibility standards (i.e., WCAG 2.x specifications). Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the frontend community would be a significant advantage. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Understanding of UX/UI design principles and experience collaborating with design teams.
