POSITION OVERVIEW
As a key member of the TUI Group, the SAP Payroll Specialist will engage with the HR & Travel Expenses team, providing essential support to the Technology Team Leader.
This role involves contributing to project initiatives aimed at enhancing process efficiencies and standardizing operational workflows and systems. The focus will be on the technical dimensions of projects, including payroll enhancements, data migration, and integration efforts, while ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
The specialist will oversee operational interactions with external nearshore and offshore development partners, emphasizing planning, execution, and quality assurance. Proactive engagement with the end-user community is crucial for the success of the team.
TEAM STRUCTURE:
The HR & Travel Expenses team is responsible for managing TUI's corporate payroll and travel expense tools, operating in a global context to support HR functions across various countries.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Experience with SAP HCM Processes: Proficient in managing all payroll-related processes, including payroll runs, social security reporting, tax documentation, payroll accounting, and payment processing.
- Customization Expertise: Skilled in configuring HCM modules such as personnel administration, payroll, time management, organizational management, and self-service portals.
- SAP Notes Application: Responsible for implementing biannual legal updates in HCM and addressing SAP Note issues and new legal requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP Human Resource modules, including SAP HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, along with integration capabilities using CPI and ABAP/4 programming.
- Change Management Support: Involved in cloud projects for Employee Central, focusing on data migration and replication of employee master data, while coordinating with external consultants and onboarding new users.
- Payroll Customization Knowledge: Extensive understanding of payroll configuration, wage types, features, payroll schemes, and functions.
- Consulting Experience: Previous background in SAP HR consulting.
- Human Resources Insight: Familiarity with HR business processes.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German is essential; additional languages are advantageous.
