Your primary responsibility will be to guide the design and implementation phases of engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, integrated software solutions while adhering to project timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Architect with a focus on Next-Gen Cloud Solutions, your duties will include:
- Conducting assessments and workshops with both technical and business stakeholders to illustrate the value of Oracle's Cloud Stack.
- Collaborating closely with clients to deliver solutions that meet or exceed their expectations, addressing both technical and non-technical requirements.
- Engaging with customers to ensure their service needs are met and that deliverables align with Oracle's high standards of quality.
- Leveraging deep customer insights to provide a competitive edge.
- Demonstrating commercial awareness when advising clients.
- Continuously updating and enhancing your knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the rapidly changing Cloud landscape.
- Actively participating in the internal community and contributing to the growth of the Consulting Intellectual Property asset library by sharing knowledge and experiences.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with the product management team.
Qualifications and Skills
Your passion, expertise, and focus on customer satisfaction will be essential in our pursuit of becoming the leading cloud provider globally.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in designing and implementing solutions based on Cloud architectures (both private and public, including OCI, AWS, Azure, and Google).
- Strong understanding of Cloud Services design and delivery models, including IaaS and PaaS.
- Hands-on experience with databases.
- A keen interest in technology topics such as Cloud, Virtualization, and Grid.
- A professional demeanor and attitude.
- Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate strong self-motivation.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and self-management capabilities.
- Experience in defining and implementing conceptual solutions.
- Willingness to travel primarily within Germany and Austria.
- Candidates should ideally be located in Germany or Austria, with a preference for major cities.
- In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas is essential: OCI, OSC, or other vendors like Azure, AWS, or Google Database Cloud Services, Cloud automation tools, networking concepts, Exadata expertise, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, or migration.
Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience with Oracle Golden Gate.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
