We are committed to pushing the boundaries of the feasible and being first in demonstrating new concepts. Our research focuses on the design and analysis of information transmission systems, with emphasis on modulation, error control coding, signal processing, and medium access control aspects.
About the ProjectSet reconciliation problems arise frequently in distributed systems with multiple copies of data across different nodes. A prominent example is cryptocurrency networks, in which nodes keep transaction databases that are periodically updated.
In this thesis, set reconciliation based on BCH codes is investigated. Potential speed-ups of known decoding algorithms for BCH codes are considered. The improved methods are implemented in SageMath/Python and their performance is evaluated via simulations.
Requirements- Studies in electrical engineering (or related) with specialization on communication engineering and channel coding
