Data Insights Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Data Analyst (m/f/d) to become a vital part of our Data & Analytics team at Project A Ventures.
In this role, you will be responsible for uncovering how data can enhance growth and operational efficiency across our portfolio companies. You will collaborate closely with our Data Engineering & Science team to harness these opportunities, prioritizing tangible impact over the latest technologies or methodologies. This position offers you unique insights into the workings of a leading venture capital firm.

Key Responsibilities- Identify, investigate, and implement significant data initiatives for our companies aligned with their strategic goals and investment targets.
- Oversee data warehousing and machine learning projects in close partnership with our Data Engineering & Science team.
- Facilitate a deeper, data-driven understanding of business operations within our portfolio companies.
- Ensure consistent tracking and data collection through various client and server-side solutions.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Data & Analytics, preferably in fast-paced and dynamic environments, with consultancy or agency experience being advantageous.
- High emotional intelligence to cultivate and sustain meaningful relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Extensive expertise in at least one specific data domain (e.g., Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, Data Governance, Customer Analytics).
- Proficient in SQL/dbt for data analysis and modeling.
- Relevant experience in MDS: Data collection (Google Tag Manager, Segment), data integration (Fivetran, Airbyte), databases (Snowflake, BigQuery), data modeling (dbt, DataForm), and activation (Looker, Metabase, PowerBI, Census).
- Fluency in both German and English.
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlin office. Eligibility to work within the EU is required.
