Senior Performance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Performance Manager to join our team at E.ON Energy Markets GmbH. As a key member of our Energy Markets function, you will be responsible for monitoring, challenging, and reporting on performance and risk KPIs.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a state-of-the-art reporting infrastructure for the Energy Markets portfolios, ensuring seamless data visualization and automation.
- Enhance transparency of value drivers and operational KPIs, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Roll out the Performance Controlling Concept (PCC) across all E.ON regions, ensuring consistent group-wide transparency of Energy Markets performance.
- Prepare and deliver in-depth analysis, reports, and presentations for executive stakeholders and decision-making bodies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including regional Risk & Finance functions, Energy Markets, Group Risk, Digital Technology, and the board.
- Hold a numerate and analytical university degree.
- Bring experience in the energy sector, including energy procurement, sales, or trading, as an Analyst, Energy Economist, Commercial Controller, Risk Manager, or Front Officer.
- Demonstrate expertise in automation of big data processes or data visualization using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Exhibit a strong commercial understanding of performance drivers in a commodity or energy portfolio, with the ability to translate root causes into clear explanations.
- Showcase effective communication, partnering, customer storytelling, and empathy skills.
- Be willing to work in a commercial and high-performance market environment, with a proactive, self-motivated, and flexible approach.
- Proficiency in English is required, with German being an advantage.
