Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Assistant. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting our direct and indirect procurement teams in various administrative tasks, data analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement teams in tasks such as vendor management, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Assist in organizing team events and management meetings.
  • Prepare procurement-related documents and reports.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in the material procurement process as a junior buyer.
  • Collaborate closely with managers in the raw materials and technical procurement departments.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled student in finance, economics, or a related field in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (SAP knowledge is an asset).
  • Ability to work effectively in teams with production and maintenance personnel.
  • Organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent English and German language skills, minimum C1 level.
