Job Title: Technical Product Manager - Electrical Tank Water Heater

Midea Group, a leading Global Fortune 500 high technology company, is seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team in Midea Germany Research Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and develop technical specifications for product development.
  • Collaborate with global R&D and sales teams to advance products tailored for the European market.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory shifts to inform product technical strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape to strategically plan and position products.
  • Ensure product compliance and certification by overseeing processes and adherence to relevant standards.
  • Support commercialization through customer onboarding, training, and promotional activities.
  • Contribute to strategic planning of product and technology, providing valuable insights and direction.
  • Pursue external R&D collaborations to investigate and seize opportunities for disruptive product innovations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of technical experience within the water heater or related appliance industry.
  • At least three years of experience in product management or a comparable role, demonstrating a proven track record of leading diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to the European Union.
  • Well-maintained knowledge base regarding the competitive dynamics within the European market.
  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional European languages such as German, Italian, or Spanish a plus.
  • Willingness to undertake up to 25% domestic and international travel to fulfill business requirements.
