Operative & Tactical Buyer Indirect Material

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize indirect material requirements and negotiate contracts for mid- to long-term supply security and cost optimization in SAP Ariba
  • Collaborate with the Global Lead Buyer to ensure global procurement alignment and strategy
  • Qualify and develop existing and potential suppliers and service providers to meet business needs
  • Conduct international market analyses to identify growth opportunities and trends
  • Identify cost reduction measures and conduct value analyses to drive business growth
  • Contribute to the development of global procurement strategies, focusing on digitization and process improvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Several years of experience in indirect procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and systems
  • Independent work ethic, with a focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to drive business growth
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Ariba, with a strong understanding of procurement software and systems
  • Fluency in German and English, with additional languages a plus
