About the Role

HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our GBAD Solutions Engineering department in Ulm. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development of radar products and sensor system solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development work packages in time, cost, and quality
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary development teams
  • Implement the development process and ensure close cooperation with the programme area and technical disciplines
  • Define technical system requirements, system architecture, interface documents, system analyses, and system safety
  • Support the coordination of all system development activities related to system safety
  • Support acquisition through effort estimates and proposal preparation

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, IT, aerospace, or a similar field
  • Several years of professional experience in this field, ideally with experience in system safety
  • Experience in the development of radar systems
  • Experience in technical management of teams
  • Knowledge of safety standards, such as MIL-STD-882 and BAAINBw manual for verification of system safety
  • Experience with functional hazard analysis (FHA) and knowledge of DOORS, MATLAB, and MBSE
  • Business fluent German and very good English skills
