We are seeking a Senior Manager – Digitalization & Systems to spearhead transformative initiatives within our Accounting and Controlling sectors. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about merging technology with business operations and excel in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Project Oversight

  • Champion digital transformation projects across accounting and controlling functions.
  • Direct and manage projects to ensure they align with organizational objectives.
  • Thrive in dynamic environments, inspiring team members and stakeholders towards shared goals.
  • Lead specialized taskforces to achieve successful project deliverables.

Development of Digital Solutions

  • Create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and systems utilizing tools such as Power BI and SAP SAC.
  • Facilitate requirement gathering and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

SAP Governance and Process Oversight

  • Manage SAP SEM BCS, PRS, ELT, ensuring a smooth transition to S4.
  • Oversee compliance, cybersecurity, and IT General Controls (ITGC) responsibilities.

Collaboration and Engagement with Stakeholders

  • Work closely with department leaders to formulate digital solutions and initiatives.
  • Actively engage in committees and boards as the representative of the Head of Digitalization and Systems.

Training and Development of Teams

  • Conduct training sessions aimed at enhancing digital competencies within the team and broader community.

Ad Hoc Analysis and Task Coordination

  • Execute ad hoc analyses and lead taskforces to fulfill new requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT on 'backup' task management.

Candidate Profile

  • Exceptional Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering/Computing, or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 8 years in a comparable position, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector, with a focus on SAP, digitalization, and change management.
  • Expertise in SAP SEM BCS, SAP SAC, MS Power BI, database management, and BW Management. Familiarity with low-code tools, RPA, and AI is a plus.
  • Proficient in both English and German, with strong communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of business processes, with the capability to integrate IT solutions into existing workflows seamlessly.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, change management, and successful implementation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of controlling and accounting practices, including Transfer Price Reporting, Intercompany Profit Elimination, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Experience with SAP PaPM, MS SharePoint, S4 HANA integration projects, MS Office, VBA, SQL, and general programming skills is advantageous.
