We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD researcher to join our team at the Universitätsmedizin Essen. As a PhD researcher, you will be working on fascinating projects such as Sphingolipids in cell intrinsic immunity with the ability to develop your own research profile.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of immunology, virology, or oncology
- Develop and implement research projects, including experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation
- Collaborate with other researchers and scientists to advance our understanding of cell intrinsic immunity
- Present research findings at conferences and publish in scientific journals
Your Profile
- University degree (master or diploma) in (Bio-)medical Sciences or a closely related study subject
- Strong interest and profound knowledge in immunology, virology, or oncology
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and team-oriented
- Experience in molecular biology (cloning, protein-biochemistry, and/or 3D structural analysis) is an asset
