IT Project Manager for Dynamic Passenger Information Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT professional to join our team at regiobus Hannover GmbH as an IT Project Manager for Dynamic Passenger Information Systems. This is a full-time position (38.5 hours/week) that offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity in a dynamic and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the technical and organizational implementation of dynamic passenger information systems at bus stops for regiobus and ÜSTRA
- Monitor, maintain, and perform technical maintenance on passenger information systems
- Manage projects related to the digitalization of public transportation systems, including project status reports, coordination with stakeholders, and resource management
- Bid management and coordination of external services, including system maintenance and support
- Integrate dynamic passenger information displays into the backend systems, prepare and provide data, manage interfaces, monitor, and troubleshoot issues, including external activities
- Develop and implement concepts for the continued use of the system beyond the project period, in collaboration with other departments
- Coordinate tasks and communicate with external service providers
- Participate in working groups and represent the interests of regiobus in relation to stakeholders and other parties
- Perform other project-related tasks
- Relevant education or degree in IT or a related field
- Desirable: professional experience or market and industry knowledge in public transportation
- Knowledge of dynamic passenger information systems, technical setup, system integration, software, and maintenance is an advantage
- Minimum C1 level in German language proficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking
- Flexibility and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Teamwork, cooperative work style, and negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license (Class B)
