We are seeking a dedicated professional to spearhead our Finance Development team, focusing on the enhancement and management of our NetSuite environment and the associated service model. This role involves collaborating with the team to pinpoint key development requirements, establishing a strategic roadmap for the upcoming years, and providing support to our finance community in optimizing their use of NetSuite.
You will not be working in isolation. Alongside your team of NetSuite specialists and as part of the Wolt Finance Development, you will be surrounded by a talented group of finance development experts with extensive knowledge in both general finance process enhancement and NetSuite functionalities. Moreover, you will engage closely with Key Users and Process Owners from core finance teams to translate their challenges into actionable development initiatives. Being part of the DoorDash team also grants you the opportunity to exchange insights and best practices with colleagues across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our NetSuite experts to prioritize development and maintenance tasks.
- Develop and sustain a long-term development roadmap for our NetSuite environment, aligned with DoorDash's strategic vision.
- Oversee maintenance operations and development activities in NetSuite to ensure system availability and scalability, working alongside external partners.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement scalable and reliable finance system solutions, facilitate system integration efforts, and enhance operational efficiencies through automation and process improvements.
- Assist Wolt Process Owners in designing and enforcing relevant process controls.
- Define and ensure the implementation of access controls and segregation of duties within the NetSuite environment.
- Evaluate and establish a training program for NetSuite end users to enhance their understanding and skills.
- Strengthen the change management process and further develop the user acceptance testing program for NetSuite in accordance with SOX requirements.
Desired Qualifications
- Significant experience working with NetSuite (approximately 10 years), with additional experience in other ERP FICO modules being advantageous.
- Proven experience in a leadership role while collaborating with external partners.
- A track record of playing a pivotal role in ERP system change or implementation projects.
- Ability to translate business process needs into NetSuite requirements and effectively manage these projects.
- While NetSuite is central to this role, a strong understanding of integrations and the broader system and data architecture is essential.
- Previous experience in core finance processes (e.g., accounting, management reporting) is highly regarded.
- Ideally, experience in data-intensive industries such as FMCG or large-scale B2C businesses.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and end users effectively.
